Job summary

Bidfood Wellington is seeking a reliable nightshift warehouse team member to pick, pack and load stock for daily deliveries. You will work 8:00 PM to 5:30 AM, with a Sunday–Thursday roster plus every second Friday night, guaranteed a minimum 45 hours per week.

The role is physically demanding, requires high accuracy, and includes on-site training, PPE and staff benefits. You should be fit for manual handling, able to work independently and as part of a team, with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Physically capable of manual handling during a 9-hour shift.
• Able to pass pre-employment checks (drug test, ACC, background).
• Warehouse experience preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack and load stock for daily deliveries.
• Work accurately and efficiently to meet tight deadlines.
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality and housekeeping.
• Work as part of a fast-paced nightshift team.

At Bidfood FSV Wellington, our Nightshift Warehouse Team plays a critical role in ensuring our customers receive their orders on time every day. While most people are asleep, our team is busy picking, packing and loading thousands of products for delivery across the region.

The work is physically demanding, fast-paced and requires a high level of accuracy. You'll be on your feet for most of your shift, regularly lifting, carrying, bending, reaching and moving throughout the warehouse. Some areas are chilled or frozen, and every order must be completed correctly and on time before the trucks leave each morning.

The Role:

• Nightshift hours: 8.00pm to 5.30am. Rostered Sunday through to Thursday, plus every second Friday night.
• Guaranteed minimum 45 hours per week.
• Pick, pack and load stock ready for our daily deliveries.
• Work accurately and efficiently to meet tight deadlines
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality and housekeeping
