Job summary

Silver Fern Farms Limited is seeking a Production Manager for the Night Shift at our Finegand site. You will lead the processing team, uphold safety, quality and compliance, and own night shift outcomes to meet customer requirements.

The role focuses on building agile, high-performance teams while coordinating production, health and safety, and quality controls. Ideal candidates will have senior leadership experience in red meat processing or similar FMCG industries, with strong training,

Qualifications

Minimum of three years’ experience in a senior production leadership role, ideally within red meat processing or similar FMCG industries.
Proven background in training, coaching and mentoring team members to increase the skill level in all areas of your department.
Knowledge of employee relations principles and confident with assisting your leaders with workforce management.
Excellent knowledge of regulatory and hygiene compliance requirements and issues.
Competent to an intermediate/high level in Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Outlook.
