Job summary

Vitaco in New Zealand is seeking a capable Night Shift Team Leader to head GMP Manufacturing and GMP Packing operations. You will oversee a team of machine operators, coordinate resources, and deliver safe, high‑quality production outcomes.

Reporting to the Line Manager, you will drive SH&E, deliver the production plan, coach staff, and pursue continuous improvement while ensuring audit and collective agreement compliance. The role is 45 hours per week with a Sunday roster every four weeks.

Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG manufacturing and packing leadership.
• Occupational health & safety experience in a production environment.
• Certificate-level trade or industry qualifications preferred.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Problem-solving mindset with a continuous improvement focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead SH&E initiatives and ensure compliance.
• Deliver the production plan efficiently with high quality and hygiene standards.
• Coach and develop team members for performance and growth.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation in processes.
• Coordinate with Planning, Purchasing, Quality, Engineering and People & Culture teams for resource alignment.
• Maintain compliance with audit and collective agreement requirements.
• 45 hours per week.
• Roster includes 1 x Sunday every 4 weeks.
