Job summary

Alliance Group’s Mataura site seeks an experienced Supervisor for the Abattoir – Primary Processing, night shift. You will lead the Abattoir team to deliver safe, efficient results while building capability and supporting a positive daily experience for staff.

You will bring 2+ years in food manufacturing with leadership experience, strong safety and quality focus, and excellent communication. The role involves planning staffing and resources to meet targets, with onsite health services and

Responsibilities

Lead, coach and organise the Abattoir team to meet production, quality and cost targets.
Plan staffing, training and resources for current and future demands.
Maintain food safety, product quality, environmental and H&S requirements daily.
Support plant performance and continuous improvement through process enhancements.
Collaborate with management and unions to keep operations running smoothly.
