Job summary

Vitaco is seeking a capable Team Leader to head the Night Shift operations in GMP Manufacturing and GMP Packing. Reporting to the Line Manager, you will oversee a team of machine operators, coordinate resources, and ensure safe, efficient production outcomes.

The role requires FMCG experience, 3–5 years in manufacturing leadership, SH&E focus, strong communication, and financial acumen. 45 hours per week with a Sunday roster every 4 weeks; onsite facilities include cafeteria and parking.

Qualifications

• FMCG experience is essential.
• 3–5 years in manufacturing and packing leadership preferred.
• OH&S experience in a production setting is required.
• Intermediate MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• ERP systems familiarity (Navision or 3WS) is a plus.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities are expected.
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Ability to manage costs and resources effectively.
• Experience in workflow planning and time management.
• People leadership, mentoring and team-building capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead SH&E initiatives and promote a safer culture.
• Deliver the production plan with high quality and hygiene standards.
• Coach and develop team members, supporting performance and accountability.
• Drive continuous improvement and process innovation.
• Collaborate with Planning, Purchasing, Quality, Engineering and People & Culture.
• Maintain compliance with audit and collective agreement requirements.
