Job summary

Crowne Plaza Christchurch, part of IHG, is hiring a Night Auditor to deliver exceptional guest service and accurate nightly accounting. You will welcome guests, handle front desk duties, and balance the day’s financials with the Night Manager.

The role requires strong customer service, problem solving, and experience with hotel systems. A tertiary hotel management qualification is preferred and you will work a 32-hour full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to interact with customers and colleagues in a hotel setting.
• Problem solving abilities and a proactive approach to guest needs.
• Experience with hotel PMS Opera or similar systems is preferred.
• Tertiary qualification in Hotel Management or Front Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete night audit procedures as directed by Night Manager.
• Receive and balance cash, process payments and settlements.
• Respond to guest inquiries, assist with luggage and requests.
• Maintain accurate nightly reports and coordinate with Accounts.
• Support revenue initiatives and ensure compliance with policies.
