Foodstuffs North Island, a leading New Zealand retailer, is seeking a proactive coordinator to support the Head of New World. You will help translate strategy into action, develop reporting, and partner with owner-operators and store teams to land initiatives in stores.

You will thrive in a fast-moving environment, bring strong organisational and communication skills, and enjoy building relationships across offices and stores. Flexibility and adaptability are essential.

Qualifications

• Highly organised and detail-focused approach; deliver quality work timely.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; articulate ideas and present effectively.
• Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills across a wide range of people.
• Proactive mindset with a genuine interest in improving processes.
• Good MS Office skills; familiarity with Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint.
• Experience or openness to using AI thoughtfully; Copilot useful.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate, document, communicate and support delivery of New World strategies, projects and key workstreams.
• Partner with New World leadership to strengthen collaboration and ensure initiatives land in stores.
• Work with reports and data; highlight trends and develop additional reporting as needed.
• Create engaging communications for New World Members (daily newsletter, weekly updates, wrap).
• Advocate for store teams; ensure clear, fit-for-purpose communications and documentation.
• Support the New World Member Representation Committee: coordinate meetings, agendas and actions.
• Collaborate with Events and Internal Communications to support Member events (All Operator Meetings, Store Manager Forums).
• Build a strong network across Foodies; connect across support office and stores.
• Contribute to a positive, high-performing culture across the New World brand.
