Responsibilities

• Provide support to neurodiverse students in classroom and school settings.
• Work with small groups to support learning needs.
• Implement tailored strategies under guidance of teacher and SENCO.
• Assist with academic, social and behavioural development per learning plan.
• Foster a supportive, structured environment to boost confidence and independence.
• Collaborate with teachers, specialists and whānau for consistent support.
• Assist with sensory regulation and emotional well-being as needed.
• Adapt tasks to suit learning styles and needs.
• Provide feedback on progress and challenges to the teaching team.
