Job summary

Auckland Transport in Auckland, North Island, is seeking a Network & Security Specialist to provision and manage CRL Network/Security systems across on-premise, cloud or hybrid environments, ensuring security, availability and scalable service delivery. You will lead lifecycle management, automation, and incident response, participate in an on-call roster, and collaborate with IT teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, or significant proven experience in a similar role.
• Vendor certifications in Network/Security infrastructure.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a distributed technology environment.
• Demonstrable Experience with core networking technologies (Firewalls, Load Balancers, Routing, Switching, Security and Wireless).

Responsibilities

• Provision, manage and lifecycle-track CRL Network/Security systems across on-premise, cloud or hybrid environments.
• Develop and practice lifecycle management of systems in a distributed environment with CRL and SEC/DEV/OPS requirements.
• Participate in an on-call roster for after-hours support and incident response.
