Job summary

JobSpace in Auckland seeks a highly capable, autonomous Security Network Technician to own enterprise-level physical security infrastructure for premium clients. You will lead installation, configuration, and maintenance of CCTV, access control, intercom, and intruder alarms, and perform root-cause analyses for complex failures.

Qualifications

• Min 2 years experience
• Must hold a current, clean Full Class 1 New Zealand Driver’s Licence
• Must be available for an on-call roster and willing to travel across the region on short notice

Responsibilities

• Lead the installation, configuration, and maintenance of high-end CCTV, access control, intercom, and intruder alarm networks.
• Conduct advanced diagnostic root-cause analysis on complex system failures and network breaches.
• Perform rigorous physical security risk assessments, evaluating perimeter integrity, barriers, and lighting against NZ standards.
• Act as the Technical Advisor for key accounts, leading client meetings and delivering staff training on emergency protocols.
• Produce high-level technical documentation, incident reports, and forensic log analysis for client records.
• Monitor emerging security technologies and provide strategic feedback to management.
• Strictly adhere to all Health & Safety protocols, wearing PPE at all times on-site.

Security Network Technician is required to

Lead the installation, configuration, and maintenance of high-end CCTV, access control, intercom, and intruder alarm networks.

Conduct advanced diagnostic root-cause analysis on complex system failures and network breaches.

Perform rigorous physical security risk assessments, evaluating perimeter integrity, barriers, and lighting against NZ standards.

Act as theTechnical Advisorfor key accounts, leading client meetings and delivering staff training on emergency protocols.

Produce high-level technical documentation, incident reports, and forensic log analysis for client records.
