Job summary

NZ Post is seeking a MOS Specialist in East Auckland to design, embed and evolve our Management Operating System across Customer Service Delivery. You’ll connect processing, last mile and network operations, turning strategy into practical, measurable improvements.

Working within the Operational Excellence team, you’ll embed new ways of working, establish governance forums and performance frameworks, and coach leaders to deliver sustained operational value across the network.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing operating models, MOS or similar frameworks.
• Strong systems thinking and end-to-end design across teams and functions.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, from frontline to senior leaders.
• Experience designing governance structures, operating rhythms and performance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Designing and evolving MOS across Customer Service Delivery.
• Developing governance forums, operating rhythms and decision-making frameworks that support performance and accountability.
• Creating and embedding practical ways of working that connect teams and functions across the operational network.
• Partnering with leaders and Continuous Improvement teams to implement and sustain MOS practices across operations.
• Use operational feedback and performance insights to continuously improve system effectiveness.
• Coach and support leaders and teams to confidently adopt new operating practices and ways of working.
