New Zealand Post – East Tamaki, North Island
At NZ Post, delivering for Aotearoa takes great people, clear processes and strong operational discipline. As our MOS Specialist, you'll play a key role in the design, development and ongoing evolution of our Management Operating System (MOS) across Customer Service Delivery. You'll help create the operating rhythms, governance forums, performance frameworks and ways of working that connect our Processing, Last Mile and Network operations and enable teams to perform at their best.
Working as part of the Operational Excellence team and in partnership with Operational leaders and teams you'll turn strategy into practical systems that support performance, accountability and decision making. You'll play a leading role in embedding the MOS across the business, ensuring new ways of working are adopted, sustainable and deliver real operational value.
This is an opportunity to influence how work gets done across one of New Zealand's largest operational networks while helping shape the systems and structures that support successful delivery every day.
You’ll achieve that by:
You're someone who naturally sees how the bigger picture fits together. You enjoy bringing structure to complexity, designing practical solutions and helping teams work more effectively. Whether you're working with frontline teams or senior leaders, you're skilled at building relationships, influencing stakeholders and creating alignment around a common way forward.
You’ll bring experience designing and implementing operating models, management operating systems or similar frameworks within complex operational environments. You're comfortable moving between strategic thinking and hands‑on delivery and know how to turn ideas into practical, sustainable ways of working that deliver measurable outcomes.
What you’ll bring:
At NZ Post, we aim to be the delivery business of choice for Aotearoa. With a focus on Parcels and the evolution of Mail we work together to deliver the best outcomes possible for our customers and our people. This is an exciting time to join us. You'll be part of a business in transformation, where your work will have real impact on how we deliver for Aotearoa now and into the future.
Applications for this position close on Tuesday 15 September 2026.
