Asset Engineering is expanding into the Waikato, and we're looking for an experienced Architectural Metalwork Fabricator or Installer to join our new Hamilton team.
This is a unique opportunity to get involved from the beginning and play a key role in establishing our Waikato branch. We specialise in high-quality commercial architectural and structural metalwork throughout New Zealand, delivering projects including handrails, balustrades, aluminium screens, louvres, canopies, feature steelwork, gates and bespoke architectural metalwork.
Whether your strength is fabrication, installation, or both, we'd like to hear from you.
You will be experienced in:
Stainless steel fabrication.
Aluminium fabrication.
Mild steel fabrication.
Reading and interpreting shop drawings.
TIG and MIG welding.
Producing high-quality finished work.
Working independently and as part of a team.
You will have experience installing:
Handrails.
Balustrades.
Aluminium screens and louvres.
Gates and architectural metalwork.
Structural and secondary steelwork.
General commercial metalwork.
You'll also be able to:
Read and interpret shop drawings.
Work safely and efficiently on site.
Problem solve and work independently.
Deliver a high standard of workmanship.
Trade qualification preferred.
Strong fabrication and/or installation experience.
High attention to detail.
Strong work ethic.
Reliable and punctual.
Pride in producing quality workmanship.
Good communication skills.
Full NZ Driver Licence.
