NZ Skin Health in Auckland is seeking an experienced receptionist/administrator to join our nurse-led, community-focused clinic. You will handle front-desk duties, manage calls and emails, and support scheduling with medical staff while maintaining excellent patient relations.

NZ Skin Health is an established part of the east Auckland community, providing specialist screening for skin cancer, ongoing monitoring, and treatment. Our Nurse led team have formed an excellent rapport with our large community of regular patients and are looking for someone to add value day to day, whilst being part of our growth.
Our ideal candidate would be an experienced receptionist/administrator who wants to be part of our small but busy and growing clinic. We are a supportive team and expect to train and then mentor our new team member, so a can do attitude and an open personality are our main criteria.
This role is client-centric, from getting clients in the door, co-ordinating calendars between medical staff, to surgeries and follow ups.
You will be responsible for running our clinic reception day to day, ensuring the phone calls and emails are answered in a timely manner. We are a small clinic, so everyone is hands on.
You will also be responsible for coordinating with medical insurances and the public health system.
Working with our Practice Manager and Business Manager your role is to ensure our Patients have the very best experience possible and grow our reach within the community.
While a Medical reception background or experience is beneficial, an ability to learn fast and retain information is essential.
Strong time management skills, with the ability to keep an eye on everything and keep others on track is a must.
Must be good with technology. We use Elixir, Dermengine and Xero applications.
Excellent communication and a confident, team player attitude.
Eligibility to work in New Zealand is essential.
