Job summary

Pacific Radiology Dunedin is seeking a Medical Receptionist to provide frontline reception services, contributing to the company image through quality, timely patient care and clear communication with referrers and internal staff.

You will schedule imaging appointments, input data into the radiology information system, maintain patient records, and identify funding pathways following protocols.

• Strong organisational ability to manage and prioritise workload

• Proficient computer skills; experience with radiology information systems is an advantage

We are seeking applications for a Medical Receptionist at Pacific Radiology Dunedin .In this role, you will provide a frontline reception service that contributes positively to the company's image by delivering a quality andtimelyservice to patients, referrers, funders, and internal staff within the Breast Service.

You will schedule and book imaging appointments as per booking protocols, communicating withpatientsall relevant informationregardingtheir specific examination, including any preparation requirements. You will also accurately input information into the radiology information system (RIS),maintainaccuraterecords of patient medical and personal details, andidentifythe correct funding pathway, adhering to funding protocols where applicable.

We are looking for someone with:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact and communicate with a diverse range of people
• Demonstrated delivery of excellent customer service through exemplary interpersonal skills
• Exceptionalorganisationalskills, with the ability to effectively manage andprioritisetheir own workload
• The ability tomaintainabsolute discretion and confidentialityin accordance withcompany procedures and privacy laws and regulations
• Proficient navigation and use of computer systems and software (experience with a radiology information system is an advantage)
• A genuine interest in women's health
