You will develop a Mathematics strategy, use achievement data to inform practice, and work closely with kaiako to raise achievement while embedding culturally responsive approaches.

Qualifications

• Certified NZ teacher with current Practising Certificate.
• Experience leading numeracy initiatives or maths departments.
• Experience in secondary or kura education is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and evaluate a Mathematics strategy to accelerate learner progress.
• Use achievement data to identify learning needs and monitor teaching impact.
• Lead curriculum planning and assessment to ensure consistent high-quality practice.
• Collaborate with kaiako and Numeracy Lead to strengthen numeracy across the curriculum.
