1st Call Recruitment is assisting in recruiting for a full-time warehousing role in Hamilton CBD. The successful candidate will handle receipting, storage, order processing and dispatch of finished goods within a discrete manufacturing environment.

Ideal applicants will have hands-on warehousing experience, familiarity with inwards goods, stock control, and basic ERP/WMS systems, with strong attention to detail and health and safety awareness.

Qualifications

• Previous hands-on warehousing experience, preferably in discrete manufacturing.
• Ability to process a variety of parts with high accuracy and complete required documentation.

This is a Full-time Perm role located in Hamilton CBD.

The Role

Reporting to the Warehouse Team Leader, this is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for receipting and storage of inward goods, organisation and maintenance of storage area, distribution of materials, processing orders and dispatch of finished goods.

We are ideally seeking candidates from a discrete manufacturing or similar background, where you have demonstrated experience processing a large variety of parts with the highest degree of accuracy, including completing the necessary documentation required in accordance to regulations. You will also ideally have previous experience in a WMS or ERP system.

In summary, the requirements are,

• Previous hands-on experience working in warehousing role, ideally in discrete manufacturing
• Experience across inwards goods, pick packing, dispatch, inventory control, etc.
• Strong admin and computer skills, ideally in WMS/ ERP
• Attention to detail, highly organised and health and safety conscious
• Forklift experience is a bonus but not essential
• Valid NZ work rights and able to pass pre-employment drug and criminal history check
