Lawson Williams is recruiting a Storeperson for a Kiwi-owned engineering and manufacturing business in Tauranga to own stock from receipt to dispatch. The role is hands-on, including picking, packing, racking and forklift operation, with a focus on accuracy and day-to-day process improvement.

Jora New Zealand will close on 9th September 2026. Thank you for being with us, we are cheering you on as you continue your career journey.
This Kiwi-owned engineering and manufacturing business supplies premium accessibility solutions into residential and commercial property across New Zealand. Growth has been strong and demand looks set to continue with urban intensification and an ageing population.
This is a newly created role, responsible for the daily receipting, storage, handling and dispatch of inventory across the site, keeping stock accurate and the warehouse organised and safe for both the factory and the field teams.
It will suit a storeperson ready to take full ownership of stock for the first time, or an inventory or stock controller who wants to stay close to the floor rather than move further into planning. Either way the work is hands-on. Picking, packing, racking and driving the forklift, alongside keeping the system right. There is room to tighten how things are done, but this is about improving the day to day rather than running a project.
You will control stock from the moment it arrives, out to the factory, and through to dispatch.
Your responsibilities will include:

A forklift F endorsement is preferred, though the business can put the right person through their licence. What matters more is accuracy, low ego, and raising a problem rather than working around it.
