Job summary

Lion NZ is shaping sourcing and procurement for ingredients, cans, glass, labels, and production consumables across 1,500 materials and 100 suppliers. You’ll ensure materials availability and timely delivery to keep production moving.

Join a small high-performing team, build category knowledge, manage risks, and explore opportunities to improve planning and supplier performance while balancing cost and service.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning, sourcing or replenishment is welcomed but not essential.
• Strong relationship building and supplier accountability.
• Ability to plan ahead and identify supply risks.
• Detail-oriented with data and systems
• Proactive and takes ownership of commitments.

Responsibilities

• Own material availability across assigned categories from forecasting to delivery.
• Partner with suppliers to strengthen relationships and resolve supply challenges.
• Optimise inventory to maintain reliable supply while reducing excess and aging stock.
• Respond quickly to shortages and changing production needs with suppliers.
• Build category knowledge to anticipate risks and constraints.
• Identify opportunities to improve planning processes and supplier performance.
