Job summary

CMA CGM Group in Auckland, New Zealand, invites you to join our Oceania team as Marketing & Data Analyst (NZ). You will support the General Manager and Chief Commercial Officer with data analysis, reporting, market insights, and commercial performance studies.

You will manage internal reports, website updates, and local marketing initiatives, analyse business and market data, prepare forecasts, and identify opportunities to strengthen our commercial performance.

Qualifications

  • Experience preparing reports, forecasts and business insights.
  • Clear presentation of data and insights to stakeholders.

About the Role:

Reporting to: Chief Commercial Officer (NZ)
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Work Location: Auckland, New Zealand

The Marketing & Data Analyst is responsible for supports the General Manager and CCO through data analysis, reporting, market insights and commercial performance studies, while managing internal reports, website updates and local marketing initiatives.

The role and responsibilities will include:

  • Analysing business and market data to support commercial decision‑making.
  • Preparing regular reports, forecasts, business updates and benchmarking studies.
  • Identifying market opportunities and providing insights into commercial performance.
  • Maintaining internal reports and ensuring data accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Managing local website content and supporting marketing promotions.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience preparing reports, forecasts and business insights.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present data clearly.
  • Good commercial awareness and an understanding of market trends and opportunities.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
