Job summary

Silver Fern Farms in Dunedin is seeking a Market Coordinator to support the Sales team across domestic and international markets. You will coordinate sales activities, maintain customer information, manage order fulfilment, and assist with inventory management, acting as a conduit between market insights and the wider business.

The role requires collaboration with Sales, Logistics and Operations, plus pricing support and reporting via CRM systems.

Job description

As a Market Coordinator, you'll provide vital support to our Sales team across both domestic and international markets, helping ensure customer requirements are delivered efficiently and accurately. You'll play an important role in coordinating sales activities, maintaining customer information, managing order fulfilment processes, and supporting inventory management initiatives.

Working closely with Sales, Logistics, Cold Chain, Operations, and our customer base, you'll act as a key conduit between the market and the wider business, ensuring information flows effectively and customers receive outstanding service. You'll coordinate sales contracts, monitor delivery schedules and stock positions, support claims management, and assist with customer reporting and communications.

You'll also contribute to commercial outcomes by supporting pricing administration, maintaining CRM systems, generating reports, monitoring inventory availability, and identifying opportunities to improve processes and customer experience.

We're looking for someone who combines strong organisational capability with a customer-focused mindset, along with:

• Experience in business administration, sales support, logistics, customer service, or a related role
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Commercial awareness and confidence working with data, reporting, and customer information
• Proven ability to build and maintain positive customer and stakeholder relationships
• A proactive approach to problem solving and issue resolution
• Strong computer literacy and confidence learning new systems and processes
• A customer-first attitude with a collaborative and team-focused approach
• Experience within food production, agribusiness, export, or a related industry would be advantageous
