Job summary

South Port NZ Ltd is seeking a capable Marine Administrator to support our Marine team in a permanent, full-time, on-site role in Invercargill. You’ll handle reports, data management, and documentation, with training in our marine systems and processes.

You’ll join a busy operations environment, work with a supportive team, and contribute to the efficient running of our growing marine services, including cruise operations, while maintaining high standards of accuracy and reliability.

Qualifications

• Highly confident with technology and enjoys working with systems and data.
• Advanced in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, along with Word and Outlook.
• Analytical and comfortable producing reports and interpreting information.
• Well organised with excellent attention to detail and strong time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Producing regular and ad hoc reports.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Managing data across systems.
• Supporting compliance, certification and audit requirements.
• Assisting with fleet administration and asset management processes.
• Identifying opportunities to improve administrative processes and efficiencies.
• Providing administrative support for South Port's cruise operations.
