Job summary

Panelform in New Zealand is seeking a technically minded Manufacturing Systems Manager to develop and integrate manufacturing software across Microvellum, Cabinet Vision and EasyOrder, boosting accuracy, productivity and capacity.

You will link diverse systems, automate processes, troubleshoot machining issues and drive continuous improvement in a growing NZ manufacturing business, with modern CNC machinery and production technologies.

Qualifications

  • Technically-minded problem solver with experience developing software and integrating manufacturing systems.
  • Experience with Microvellum and Cabinet Vision highly regarded; familiarity with manufacturing software or automation is a plus.
  • Able to link diverse software and automate workflows to improve production efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and program Microvellum and Cabinet Vision components.
  • Integrate manufacturing software with EasyOrder and other systems.
  • Create software integrations between different programs and automate processes.
  • Coordinate automation integrations (barcode scanning, software linking and machinery).
  • Improve machining setup, parameters and performance; troubleshoot issues.
  • Participate in continuous improvement of policies and procedures.

About the Role

Manufacturing Systems Manager role focused on improving and developing manufacturing software to enhance accuracy, productivity and capacity. The role involves streamlining and linking software between different programs such as Microvellum, Cabinet Vision, SQL Server and our web-based EasyOrder system, programming and implementing automation processes to increase production efficiency, and troubleshooting software and machining issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Microvellum and Cabinet Vision development and programming
  • Manufacturing software integration with EasyOrder (web-based ordering application), alongside EasyOrder software development team
  • Software integration between programs
  • Automation integration (barcode scanning, software linking and customised machinery)
  • Improve and troubleshoot machining setup, settings and performance
  • Be actively involved in continuous improvement of policies and procedures
About You

You'll enjoy solving complex technical problems and be someone who naturally looks for smarter, more efficient ways of doing things.

Ideally you'll bring experience with some of the following:

  • Cabinetry detailing and manufacturing
  • Software development or systems integration
  • SQL databases
  • CAD/CAM or manufacturing software
  • CNC machining environments
  • Manufacturing automation
  • Process improvement
  • Programming or scripting
  • Troubleshooting technical systems
  • Experience with Microvellum, Cabinet Vision, manufacturing software or industrial automation would be highly regarded, although we value aptitude and a willingness to learn just as highly.
