Job summary

MMI Group Limited in Auckland is seeking an experienced Senior CAD Detailer to convert client visions into detailed CAD plans for bespoke kitchen and interior designs. The role requires a strong background in cabinetmaking, CAD detailing, and a solid understanding of manufacturing and installation processes.

Based in our Auckland office, you will hit the ground running and drive accuracy and efficiency in all drawings.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as CAD Operator specializing in kitchen design.
• Proficiency in CAD software with a portfolio of kitchen design projects.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy in drawings.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders.
• Knowledge of materials, dimensions, and installation considerations.

We’re on the lookout for an experienced Senior CAD Detailer. It is important that you have a strong background in both Cabinetmaking and CAD detailing. A clear understanding of the manufacturing and installation process

This is a full time, permanent position based in our Auckland office.

You must be experienced and ready to hit the ground running

Key Responsibilities

• You’ll play a crucial role in transforming client visions into comprehensive plans.
• You will be responsible for driving accuracy and efficiency with all your works.

This role requires proficiency in Microvellum (2years)

To excel in this role, you’ll need:

• Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience as a CAD Operator specializing in kitchen design, showcasing a strong track record in the field.
• Proficiency: Proficiency in CAD software, backed by a portfolio that highlights your achievements in executing innovative kitchen design projects. Experience with Microvellum essential
• Detail-Oriented: Impeccable attention to detail, committed to consistently delivering accurate and top-quality drawings.
• Communication Skills: Effective communication abilities to collaborate efficiently with diverse stakeholders involved in the design process.
• Materials Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of materials, dimensions, and specifications vital for successful kitchen construction.
• Problem-Solving Acumen: Aptitude in problem-solving, adept at addressing discrepancies and challenges encountered during the drafting phase.
• Installation Understanding: An understanding of the installation process, enabling you to anticipate and incorporate practical considerations into your designs.
