Job summary

Gallagher is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to lead the Final Assembly team and drive safety, quality, delivery, and people performance across our Hamilton manufacturing operation.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will coordinate people, resources, and production activities to meet customer demand safely and efficiently, while developing team capability and promoting a culture of continuous improvement and quality responsibility.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or production environments, in a Supervisory or Team Leader role.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong communication and cross-team relationship skills.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement tools and production metrics is a bonus.
• Interest in Lean Manufacturing and waste-reduction principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and customer commitments are met.
• Coordinate labor, skills, and resources to maximize productivity and performance.
• Set expectations, guide performance, and recognise achievements.
• Support training, development, and continuous growth opportunities.
• Allocate resources effectively and adapt to changing priorities.
• Champion continuous improvement and Lean practices.
• Lead by example in health, safety, and quality.
• Collaborate with Planning, Quality, Engineering, Stores, and other teams for smooth flow and customer satisfaction.
