Job summary

Gallagher is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to lead the Final Assembly team, driving safety, quality, delivery, and people performance across our Hamilton manufacturing operation.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will coordinate people, resources, training priorities, and production activities to meet customer demand safely and efficiently, while developing team capability and fostering continuous improvement across the site.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in a manufacturing, production or operational environment in a Supervisory or Team Leader role.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.
• Proven communication skills and ability to build positive relationships across the business.
• Experience with continuous improvement tools and production systems; knowledge of performance metrics is desirable.
• Strong interest or experience in Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement and waste reduction principles.
• Practical problem solver who can make sound decisions under pressure.
• Leads by example and supports the team when needed.
• Energetic, resilient, and has a can-do attitude.

• Lead daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and customer commitments are met.
• Coordinate labour, skills, and resources to maximise productivity and performance.
• Set expectations, guide performance, and recognise achievements.
• Support training, development, and continuous growth opportunities.
• Allocate resources effectively and adapt to changing priorities.
• Champion continuous improvement and Lean practices.
• Lead by example in health, safety, and quality.
• Collaborate with Planning, Quality, Engineering, Stores and other teams to ensure smooth flow and customer satisfaction.
