Job summary

Gallagher Group Limited seeks an experienced Warehouse Lead to head the afternoon shift (3:00pm–11:30pm) at our Hamilton, New Zealand site. You will coordinate people, inventory movements and priorities to ensure safe, accurate, and timely outbound distribution and production support.

You''ll coach and develop team members, uphold Health & Safety, and drive continuous improvement across warehouse operations with SAP WMS experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehouse management or similar operational role.
• Relevant qualification in Supply Chain, Business or related field.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control and safety standards.
• 5+ years' SAP WMS experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, organisation and time-management skills.
• Ability to lead change, manage competing priorities and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead afternoon shift operations, coordinating workload and labour allocation to achieve daily targets.
• Monitor workflow and proactively manage changing priorities, production requirements and operational issues.
• Lead, coach and develop team members, creating a safe, engaged and high-performing culture.
• Champion Health & Safety, quality and compliance across all warehouse activities.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through effective replenishment, stock movements, cycle counts and investigations.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, processes, accuracy and service levels.
• Collaborate with Production, Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehouse leadership, suppliers and freight partners.
