Gallagher in Hamilton, New Zealand, seeks an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to lead the Final Assembly team and drive safety, quality, delivery and people performance across the operation.

You will coordinate resources, train priorities and production activities to meet customer demand safely, efficiently and to the highest standards, developing team capability and fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing, production or operational environment in a Supervisory/Team Leader role.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.
• Effective communication and relationship-building across the business.
• Experience with continuous improvement tools and manufacturing performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations, meeting production targets and customer commitments.
• Coordinate labour, skills, and resources to maximise productivity.
• Set expectations, guide performance, and recognise achievements.
• Support training, development, and continuous growth opportunities.
• Allocate resources and adapt to changing priorities.
• Champion continuous improvement and Lean practices.
• Lead by example in health, safety, and quality.
• Collaborate with Planning, Quality, Engineering and Stores for smooth flow.
