Job summary

Riviera Hardware Holdings Ltd in Auckland seeks an Asian Business Sales Manager who masters Mandarin to lead the trade sales portfolio. You will shape strategy, build key customer and supplier relationships, and guide a team to deliver sustainable, profitable growth in Auckland's Mandarin-speaking construction market.

Qualifications

• Mandarin fluency in speech and writing.
• Excellent English communication.
• Understanding of the New Zealand construction and building supply market.
• Proven track record in growing sales and profitability.
• Experience leading and coaching sales teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a clear market and sales strategy to grow market share in Auckland.
• Identify new business opportunities and build trusted relationships across construction and property development sectors.
• Lead and coach Trade Account Managers with clear sales and margin targets and accountability for delivery.
• Develop account plans to grow sales beyond core building products and increase customer value.
• Monitor sales pipelines, customer activity, market movement and competitor activity.
• Coordinate with Trade Operations, branches and suppliers to align stock and service capability with growth plans.
• Maintain disciplined controls across margin, pricing and customer credit with clear reporting.
