Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare access services preferred.
• 1 year - Management, 4 years - Coordinator in a related field, 6 years - Registration or Patient Accounts with related roles.
• Experience ensuring compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.

Summary For Manager Admitting And Registration II

• Responsible for managing, planning and overseeing all aspects of Access Services including front desk, registration, cashier, financial counseling, medical records, coding, scheduling, insurance verification and authorization, and up-front collections, to ensure efficient and timely access for all patients.
• Establishes programs, policies & procedures to maximize utilization of all available resources while maintaining high levels of quality, technology and customer satisfaction.
• Develops and implements policies in conjunction with Patient Accounts & Billing Office, Medical Records, Coding and Patient Services to provide quality care and maximize reimbursement for all services rendered.
• Prepares and analyzes management information and develops department goals and objectives.
• Performs all of these functions in a manner that complies with standards established by hospital or other administration, medical staff, and outside regulatory and accreditation agencies.
