Job summary

BayCare Health System seeks a Patient Care Leader on the Mease Dunedin Hospital unit. This clinical nurse will lead nursing practice, oversee patient care delivery, and maintain 24/7 accountability for outcomes.

The role requires RN licensure with Bachelor's in Nursing, and typically 2 years of acute care experience. BLS; ACLS if required by department; on-site shifts with varied hours.

Qualifications

• RN (Registered Nurse) with Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department.

Responsibilities

Position Description:

• The Patient Care Leader (PCL) is a clinical nurse who leads the practice of nursing and manages care on the patient care unit.
• This nurse is proficient in the delivery of complex nursing care and continuously promotes quality care assuming a broad level of accountability for outcomes.
• The Patient Care Leader provides 24 hour/ 7 day accountability care for assigned patients.
