Job summary

BayCare Health System in Dunedin, FL is seeking a dedicated Service-Related Technician to perform preventive maintenance of facility equipment, primarily mechanical and utilities systems, in a hospital setting. The role requires a high school diploma with preferred technical background and a valid FL driver's license.

Applicants should have 5 years of service-related technician experience, with preferred experience in hospital maintenance and high-rise mechanical or utilities systems.

• Preferred Technical background.

Responsibilities

• Performs demand and scheduled preventive maintenance of facility equipment including Mechanical, Utilities and related systems.
• Maintains facilities and equipment in hospital or clinic environment.
• May be scheduled to work various shifts and weekends to meet hospital needs.
• May travel to other BCHS facilities for maintenance work.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Details

• Location: Mease Dunedin Hospital - Dunedin, FL
• Status: Full-time
• Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm
• Days: Monday - Friday

Responsibilities

• Performs demand and scheduled preventive maintenance of the facility equipment to primarily include Mechanical, Utilities and associated systems in accordance with departmental, hospital and regulatory agency codes.
• Specific duties include maintaining facilities and equipment in hospital or clinic environment.
• May be scheduled to work various work shifts and weekends to meet the needs of the hospital not necessarily within the craft lines.
• May require travel to perform necessary maintenance work at other BCHS facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

• Required
• High School or Equivalent
• Preferred : Technical

Licenses

• Required
• FL Driver's License

Experience

• Required : 5 years as a Service-Related Technician
• Preferred : 3 Years Hospital Maintenance
• Preferred : 1 year high-rise mechanical or utilities systems
• Preferred : Fourth-Grade Stationary Engineer's License
