Job summary

BGIS is seeking a Maintenance Delivery Coordinator in Christchurch to oversee maintenance work orders, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure accurate administration and invoice processing across social housing assets.

The role reports to the Operations Manager and requires strong organisation, excellent communication, and a proactive, customer-focused mindset to deliver high-quality service to clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in coordination, administration, scheduling or maintenance support.
• Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer service focus with stakeholder management capability.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance work orders from allocation through to completion.
• Manage subcontractor engagement and monitor progress against KPIs.
• Review, process and validate trade invoices for accuracy and compliance.
• Respond to inquiries via phone and email.
• Liaise with clients and BGIS teams to ensure timely completion of activities.
• Maintain accurate records within BGIS systems.
• Identify and escalate hazards or issues as required.
• Build relationships with clients including Kāinga Ora and partners.
