Job summary

Kāinga Ora - Homes and Communities is seeking a contract management specialist to support maintenance contracts and delivery in Christchurch. The role focuses on strong stakeholder engagement, contract oversight and value delivery across a high-volume maintenance program.

Reporting to the MMCC, you will collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure contractual obligations are met, financial reporting is accurate, and service delivery remains client-focused throughout the fixed-term

Qualifications

• Experience in contract management processes in an operational/delivery context.
• Experience in commercial/financial management of contracts or management accounting.
• Knowledge of operational work order management and delivery is useful.
• Advisory level experience with data analysis and making recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Maintenance Partners through the Te Mahi Ngā pāthī contract and engage with stakeholders.
• Apply contract management skills to maintain effective service delivery and performance.
• Support value delivery in a fixed-term role based in Christchurch through 30 June 2027.
