Job summary

Rooney Earthmoving Ltd is recruiting Experienced Civil Machine Operators to join our Waimate and North Otago team. You’ll operate roading, subdivision and forestry projects with a modern fleet and strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in road construction and maintenance.
• GPS machine control experience preferred.
• Strong commitment to health and safety on site.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate civil construction machinery on roading projects.
• Maintain equipment and report faults promptly.
• Adhere to safety protocols and site rules.

Due to our current workload and strong forward work program, we are recruiting Experienced Civil Machine Operators to join our Waimate and North Otago team.

We are looking for experienced people with proven skills in:

• Roading construction and maintenance work.
• Subdivision and commercial siteworks.
• Forestry roading construction and maintenance work.
• Experienced motor scraper operators.

Successful applicants will have attributes that include:

• A strong commitment to health and safety with a proven understanding of safe work practices on civil construction projects.
• GPS machine control and final trim experience will be highly regarded.
