Job summary

Rooney Earthmoving Ltd in Timaru is seeking Excavator Operators to join our growing civil construction teams. You will work on local projects, operate a range of earthmoving equipment, and help deliver quality results on tight timelines.

We value candidates with GPS and final trim experience, a solid commitment to health and safety, and the ability to finish jobs neatly while maintaining productivity. This is a full‑time on‑site role with competitive pay and opportunities for career progression

Due to our solid forward civil work program, we will be growing and require Excavator Operators with attributes that include:

• Skilled on a range of civil earthmoving tasks in and out of town.
• Individuals with GPS and final trim experience will be favored.
• A proven knowledge of health and safety standards and systems on civil projects.
• Skilled at tidy finishing but also knows about maintaining a productive output.
• Can work the hours to get the results without damaging the gear.
