Job summary

SO/ Auckland, a luxury hotel in Auckland's CBD, seeks a Reservations Supervisor to lead the reservations team and support Front Office operations in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

You will manage individual, corporate and group bookings, optimise occupancy and revenue, and collaborate across the Luxury & Lifestyle portfolio in Auckland. Weekend and holiday coverage is required as part of a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in Reservations, Front Office, Revenue, or Hotel Operations within a hotel environment.
• Strong understanding of distribution channels, inventory and rate management.
• Experience managing group reservations, preferably with high-volume TAG business.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisation and time management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day reservations operation with professional handling of inquiries and bookings.
• Manage individual, corporate, wholesale, and online reservations with accuracy throughout the booking journey.
• Coordinate group bookings, ensure rooming lists, arrivals, billing, and special requests are handled smoothly.
• Maximise hotel revenue through effective room inventory, occupancy, rates and availability management.
• Collaborate with Front Office and operations to deliver seamless guest arrivals and service.
• Build relationships with guests, travel partners and internal stakeholders to drive growth.
• Support training and development of Reservations team members and Front Office ambassadors.
• Maintain accurate reservation records, guest profiles, reporting and departmental correspondence.
• Collaborate with Sales, Revenue and Leadership teams to improve occupancy and performance.
• Uphold SO/ brand standards and deliver personalised luxury guest experiences.
