Role Call in Auckland is seeking a proactive logistics and inventory lead to own a dynamic operation within a growing NZ business that provides warehousing and 3PL services. You’ll report to the GM – Operations and manage daily logistics, inventory control, and 3PL coordination across multiple customers and sites.
You’ll work with warehouse teams, customers, suppliers and freight providers, using data and systems to drive improvements, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance.
Are you naturally curious, exceptionally organised and someone who enjoys figuring out how things work — and how they could work better? We're partnering with an established, growing New Zealand business that supplies retail equipment and provides warehousing and 3PL services to a diverse range of customers. We're looking for a smart, proactive and adaptable person to take ownership of a varied logistics and inventory operation. Someone who enjoys solving problems, working with systems and data, and bringing structure to an environment with lots of moving parts.
Reporting to the GM – Operations, you'll oversee daily logistics, inventory and 3PL activities, working closely with warehouse teams, customers, suppliers and freight providers.
You'll have some practical experience in logistics, warehousing, inventory or operations, along with strong systems capability and confidence working with data.
Experience with ERP systems, intermediate Excel, inventory control or 3PL operations would be advantageous.
We're open-minded about your background. What matters is having the right foundations, genuine interest in logistics and inventory, and the motivation to grow.
You'll work alongside an experienced, supportive operations leader in a collaborative, down-to-earth team that values initiative, new ideas and continuous improvement.
It's a varied role with real responsibility and opportunities to develop your skills across operations, systems and leadership.
If you're organised, curious and enjoy making things work better, we'd love to hear from you.
Applicants must have current New Zealand work rights.
