Job summary

ZIWI is a New Zealand–based global pet food company seeking a Logistics Administrator to join our team in Hawke's Bay / Meeanee. You will help keep inventory accurate and support the day‑to‑day administration behind raw materials and finished goods movements.

We value curiosity, attention to detail and teamwork. You’ll work with ERP systems, CHEP records and Excel, helping the team stay organized while learning and growing in a supportive environment.

• Receipting raw materials and checking codes, batches, quantities and documents.
• Reconciling inventory records and helping investigate differences.
• Keeping CHEP transactions, transport bookings, schedules and ERP records up to date.
• Supporting inbound, outbound and inter‑site movements.
• Following up queries and flagging delays or missing information.

We’re looking for a switched‑on Logistics Administrator who enjoys getting the details right, learning new things and being part of a team that works hard and has fun along the way.

You’ll help keep our inventory and logistics information accurate while supporting the day-to-day administration behind raw material and finished goods movements.

What will you be doing?

Your days will include:

• Receipting raw materials and checking codes, batches, quantities and documents
• Reconciling inventory records and helping investigate differences
• Keeping CHEP transactions, transport bookings, schedules and ERP records up to date
• Supporting inbound, outbound and inter‑site movements
• Following up queries and flagging delays or missing information

What you’ll bring

You don’t need to know everything on day one. We’re looking for someone with the right attitude, a good eye for detail and the confidence to ask questions and get stuck in.

• Strong organisation and attention to detail
• Confidence with numbers, systems and Microsoft Office, including Excel
• Clear communication and a friendly, team‑first approach
• Reliability, curiosity and a willingness to learn
• Administration or operational experience is a bonus, but strong transferable skills and the right attitude matter most—we’ll help you build your logistics knowledge

Even better if you have…

• Experience in administration, logistics, inventory, warehousing or food manufacturing
• Exposure to ERP systems, transport bookings, reconciliation or CHEP records
