Job summary

Sorted Logistics is seeking a Quality and Compliance Coordinator in Māngere, Auckland. You will coordinate quality, food safety, biosecurity and regulatory compliance across the business, supporting audits and maintaining records and systems to stay audit-ready.

Based in Auckland with regular travel throughout the region (including Christchurch), you will work with Operations, Transport and People, Safety and Compliance teams to drive continuous improvement and best practice in a regulated food

Responsibilities

• Coordinating quality, food safety, compliance and biosecurity documentation, records and registers.
• Supporting internal, customer, certification and external audits, including preparation, evidence gathering and follow-up actions.
• Maintaining HACCP, Risk Management Programme (RMP), biosecurity and compliance records.
• Tracking corrective actions and ensuring timely close-out of audit findings and non-conformances.

About the role

This role is responsible for coordinating and supportingquality, food safety, biosecurity and compliance activities across thebusiness. Working closely with our Operations, Transport and People, Safety andCompliance teams, you'll help ensure records, systems and processes remaincompliant, audit-ready and aligned with regulatory and customer requirements.

Based in Māngere, this role requires regular travelthroughout Auckland and occasional travel to Christchurch.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating quality, food safety, complianceand biosecurity documentation, records and registers
• Supporting internal, customer, certification andexternal audits, including preparation, evidence gathering and follow-upactions
• Maintaining HACCP, Risk Management Programme(RMP), biosecurity and compliance records
• Tracking corrective actions and ensuring timelyclose-out of audit findings, non-conformances and compliance issues
• Supporting customer quality assurance requests,compliance reporting and certification requirements
• Assisting with food safety, quality andbiosecurity investigations, complaints and root cause analysis
• Developing and maintaining training records,audit schedules, compliance registers and LMS reporting
• Assisting with the preparation and maintenanceof EDECs, declarations, certificates and other regulatory documentation
• Working closely with operational teams topromote best practice, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement

What you'll bring

We're looking for someone with hands-on experience in aregulated food environment who can confidently support quality, food safety,biosecurity and compliance activities, while building strong relationshipsacross the business.

• Proven experience in a Quality, Compliance, FoodSafety or Assurance role
• Experience within dairy manufacturing or asimilar regulated food environment
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, RMPs, RCSrequirements and food safety systems
• Sound understanding of biosecurity, traceabilityand regulatory compliance requirements
• Experience participating in internal, customer,regulatory and certification audits
• Knowledge of MPI requirements, customerassurance programmes and export compliance requirements
• Strong analytical skills with the ability toinvestigate issues, identify root causes and support corrective actions
• Excellent organisational skills with a highlevel of accuracy and attention to detail
• Confidence managing documentation, records andcompliance-related reporting
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagementskills, with the ability to work effectively with operational teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidencelearning and using compliance, quality and audit systems
• A full New Zealand driver's licence andwillingness to travel throughout Auckland and occasionally to Christchurch
