Job summary

better finance is seeking a Support Broker/Adviser to manage loan applications from enquiry through submission. You will verify customer information, gather documents, and ensure accuracy for lenders.

You will handle inbound calls, resolve issues on the call, and arrange callbacks when needed. You will develop knowledge of which deals suit which lenders, maintain meticulous CRM records and support Advisers across the office as workload allows.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written communication; notes underpin lender decisions.
• Strong telephone manner for high-volume calling and customer contact.
• Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously and stay organised.
• Proactive follow-up and callbacks to ensure timely progress.

Responsibilities

• Preparing loan applications to a submit-ready standard for Advisers.
• Gathering and verifying customer information (identity, income, expenses, liabilities, purpose, security).
• Obtaining and reviewing credit information and bank statements.
• Completing loan documentation correctly and presenting files to each lender's required format.
• Answering inbound calls for Advisers and resolving issues on the call; arrange callbacks if needed.
• Recording callbacks and ensuring commitments are met; returning unanswered calls the same day.
• Chasing outstanding documents and lender conditions; maintaining complete CRM records.
• Supporting Advisers across the office when workload allows.
