Job summary

Carlyon Limited in Auckland seeks an Adviser Support person to join our small team of three. You will handle client servicing, transaction processing, portfolio administration and support around major life events, bringing empathy and organisation.

You will be the main operations contact for our custodian NZXWT, process transactions, manage portfolio reporting, bonds and term deposits, onboard new clients, coordinate transfers, and support advisers and clients with clear communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial advice support or wealth management.
• Ability to handle investment administration and banking tasks.
• Strong numerical literacy and reliable, precise work ethic.
• Empathetic approach with clients during life events.

Responsibilities

• Be the main operations contact for our custodian NZXWT and disseminate updates.
• Process client investment transactions, withdrawals and deposits, and monitor cash balances.
• Manage portfolio reporting and keep investment fund information up to date.
• Handle new bond issues and monitor maturities of bonds and term deposits.
• Onboard new clients and process required documentation.
• Coordinate portfolio transfers following changes in ownership.
• Coordinate with executors, lawyers, trustees, beneficiaries and others after significant events.
• Provide occasional reception cover and welcome clients.
