Job summary

Pathways Health Ltd in Papatoetoe, Auckland, is seeking a permanent full-time Peer Support role. You will work Friday–Monday, 3pm–11:30pm, reporting to the Team Coach Peer as part of a peer-led Auckland team that supports up to 12 tāngata whai ora as an alternative to hospital admission.

Bring your lived or living experience and peer training to support recovery, uphold peer values, and help guests navigate wellbeing during respite stays. Knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi is welcomed.

Qualifications

• Intentionally drawing on your Lived or Living Experience to support others on their recovery journey.
• Using your Peer training and upholding Peer competencies/values.
• Knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supporting acute tāngata whai ora who are staying at Tupu Ake as an alternative to being in hospital on the awake night shift.
• Supporting all aspects of tāngata whai ora's recovery during their stay at respite.
