Job summary

Te Roopu Taurima in Auckland seeks an experienced Lifestyle Coach to support people with disabilities to live meaningful, independent lives. You will work with individuals to build confidence, life skills and community connections, providing practical support and guidance daily.

We offer permanent roles with guaranteed hours of 16 or 20 per week, competitive hourly pay, and opportunities for NZQA qualification advancement within a values-based workplace.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience in New Zealand supporting people with disabilities or in a related community-based support role
• Experience working independently and supporting people with complex needs
• Experience in areas such as behaviour support, mental health, youth work, social services, or trauma-informed care
• A Level 3 New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (or equivalent qualification or experience)
• A full New Zealand driver's licence
• Strong communication skills and a person-centred approach
• Availability to work rostered shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
