Hanmer Springs is seeking energetic, customer-focused team members to join our aquatics team as Lifeguards, Surf Instructors, and Hosts. These hands-on roles emphasize safety, guest experience, and memorable moments around our waters and the YourWave standing wave attraction.

You'll help guests build confidence, deliver high-quality service, and work across the aquatic complex with strong training support, including National Pool Lifeguard Practising Certificate progression.

About theRole

As a Lifeguard, you'll help keepour guests safe and comfortable while upholding the high standards they expect.You'll be a visible, approachable presence around the pools, offeringassistance when needed and helping create a welcoming environment for everyone.

Keyresponsibilities include:

• Customer safety in and around the pools to ensure asafe environment
• Providing first aid assistance when required
• Monitoring pool conditions, temperatures, and waterquality
• Maintaining cleanliness and presentation standardsthroughout the facility
• Assisting with water testing and basic operationalduties
• Supporting general maintenance tasks as required
• Delivering exceptional customer service and guestexperiences
• Assisting in other operational areas when requiredthrough multi-skilling
  

What We'reLooking For

• Has a current First Aid Certificate (or is willingto obtain one)
• Is a confident swimmer. National Pool Lifeguard Qualification isan advantage, but not essential for the right candidate, as training willbe provided.
• Enjoys interacting with people and providingoutstanding customer service
• Works well as part of a team
• Is reliable, adaptable, and willing to pitch inwhere needed
• Takes pride in their personal presentation and workstandards
• Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
