Job summary

Xceda Finance Limited is seeking a Lending Support & Settlements Officer in Auckland to facilitate loan applications and settlements with precision. You will ensure compliance with NZ lending laws, privacy, and AML standards while supporting lending managers and maintaining strong customer service.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a similar lending or settlements role in financial services.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good relationship management with internal/external stakeholders.
• Understanding of NZ lending laws including Privacy Act, CCCFA, AML/CFT.
• Able to work autonomously with strong time management and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate processing of loan applications and settlements.
• Input data accurately and maintain high quality/attention to detail.
• Follow up with lending managers, advisors and other parties as required.
• Ensure compliance with AML, privacy, and responsible lending requirements.
• Support settlements to ensure excellent customer service and timely completion.
• Maintain good team relationships and contribute to discussions.

The Role:

We are seeking a Lending Support & Settlements Officer that would be responsible for facilitating the processing of loan applications and settlements of both CCCFA and Non CCCFA loans.

The core elements of the role are:

• Ensure precise and punctual input of data, demonstrating high attention to detail when handling loan applications and loan documents
• Ensure legal requirements are upheld and a high standard of quality and efficiency is maintained in line with Xceda’s policies, procedures, and processes
• Follow up information with lending managers, advisors and other parties as required
• Adherence to operational/lending controls/conditions, policies and business operational compliance as well as AML regulations
• Support lending managers and advisors in the settlement process to ensure excellent customer service is maintained internally and externally
• Maintain good working relationships within the team, proactively contributing to team discussions and a willingness to accept constructive feedback
• Understand risk assessment across Xceda’s lending and credit policies.

Your Skills:

• We would prefer an experienced candidate with at least 5 years in a similar role
• Strong verbal, written and computer skills
• Excellent relationship skills for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Understanding of relevant laws applicable to NZ lending, including the Privacy Act, CCCFA, AML/CFT, Responsible Lending Code
• Resilience & problem-solving ability
