Job summary

Better Finance is seeking a self-motivated sales consultant to handle consumer loan enquiries, assess credit needs, and guide clients through the financing process. The role focuses on delivering fast, hassle-free settlements while maintaining high service standards.

You will evaluate credit information, determine suitable lenders, and liaise with clients and lenders to complete documentation. Prior lending experience is advantageous; flexibility in duties is offered.

Proven Expert in Consumer Finance Brokering

Better Finance enables people to finance their goals quickly and efficiently. We have built a business based on providing excellent customer service in the way we quickly help customers find the finance they need, assist them through the process and structure loans in way that works with our customers so that finance fits within their budget.

Our team is growing and we are looking for a self motivated, achievement oriented, experienced sales consultant to join our customer focused team. If you have experience in the Personal Loan space this is a huge advantage and could lead to a very senior team leader package.

The role will see you handle multiple loan enquiries during the day. You will be working with potential customers over the phone to manage their finance enquiries. You will assess their needs, ensure all details are correct and evaluate credit information. You will determine which lender(s) will best meet the customer’s needs and work with the appropriate lender and customer through to a speedy, hassle free settlement.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Analysing credit applications in an efficient, timely manner to determine compliance with our lenders' credit policy

Assessing credit worthiness of potential customers based on information from credit applications and credit bureau reports

Assisting with validation of credit application information

Completing loan documentation and liaising with clients to sign documents and collect necessary information to enable loans to be settled

Following the loan process from enquiry to completion with all the necessary documentation and processes followed.

Providing exceptional customer service in order to maintain a high level of integrity and enhancing the customer service culture we are known for

Maintains an organised portfolio of work

Endeavouring to exceed company sales targets

Establishing new relationships with sources of new enquiry

Any other duties assigned from time to time

Prior consumer lending experience within a brokerage or operations experience

and /or prior vehicle finance underwriting experience an advantage and preferred

We are able to provide some flexibility in the role

Remuneration will be discussed with you upon successful application
