Waimataitai School is seeking a dedicated, passionate, and collaborative Learning Support Coordinator starting in Term 1, 2027.

Our Learning Support Coordinator will be a registered teacher with a current NZ teaching practicing certificate and relevant teaching qualification, and will have:

• demonstrated successful experience in working with and including children and young people with learning support needs in the classroom
• an ability to build and maintain strong relationships with parents, whānau and communities
• influencing skills at a working level within a school or kura
• an ability to provide culturally responsive support that protects the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
• met professional standards relevant to their current position

You will work alongside our senior management team, leadership team, teaching staff, specialist agencies, and diverse whānau to ensure that every learner is understood, supported, and empowered to thrive.
