About the Role:

Cotswold Mātāhae School is seeking a dedicated and collaborative Teacher Aide to join our supportive learning environment. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with our teaching staff to provide essential support to our diverse student population.

The position is 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, on a fixed term, part time contract from 12th October until 11th December 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working collaboratively with classroom teachers to support the learning and development of students with a range of needs.
• Providing tailored assistance to students with behavioural needs, ORS funding, ESOL, International students, and neurodiverse children.
• Contributing to an inclusive and positive learning environment for all students.
• Assisting with personal care tasks, including toileting, as required.

Desired Skills and Attributes:

• Previous experience working as a Teacher Aide is highly desirable, but not essential.
• Demonstrated ability to work with care and empathy, particularly when supporting neurodiverse and ESOL students.
• A willingness to assist with personal care needs.
• Exceptional reliability, flexibility and ability to show initiative.
• Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
