Job summary

Papatoetoe Footsteps Community Preschool is seeking a fully registered lead teacher for our 3-5 year old classroom in Papatoetoe, Auckland. We value holistic development through Te Whāriki and our own character-based curriculum, and we offer a supportive, professional team.

The successful candidate will lead with passion, uphold our Special Character values, and foster meaningful relationships with children and families while guiding others in best practices and engaging learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Fully registered lead teacher for a 3-5 year old classroom.
• Strong leadership, guidance and teamwork with colleagues.
• Engage families and children through our values-based local curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Lead the 3-5 year old classroom with passion and professional practice.

Lead Teacher - Special Character Centre

Full time, Permanent

Our community-based, Christian centre is situated in Papatoetoe, Auckland. At Footsteps, we are passionate about investing in children’s lives through Te Whāriki and our own values-based local curriculum which fosters holistic development and connects children to Jesus.

We are looking for a fully registered lead teacher to work in our 3-5-year-old classroom and to join our happy and professional team.

We are seeking someone who:

• enjoys leading, guiding and inspiring others through their own excellent practise and dedication
• fully embracesand upholds our Special Character values through the daily interactions, rhythms and routines of the classroom
